Aim of Competition:

Not all the children are lucky enough in the world. Some of them could not live their childhood. Some are growing up right in the middle of war, some have to work, some are starving, and some are fighting with the illnesses. They could not live in a suitable ambiance and could not have appropriate education opportunities. The problems may vary according to each different zone in the world. To remind one more time all the problems and difficulties that facing children in all over the world and to consider what can be done to make their lives better. 

Entry Conditions:

» Entry free of charge. Please upload pictures into this website www.rotaphoto.org

» Award winning photos from other competitions may be entered.

» Each contestant may enter a maximum off 4 (Four) photos.

» Photos may be either, monochrome, colour or mix of monochrome and colour.

» There is no limitation on photographic techniques.

» Photo entries may not include Passe-Partout or White edge.

» Judges, Corlu 100th Year Rotary Club members, TFSF (Photographic Arts Federation of Turkey) representatives or their 1. Degree relatives may not enter this competition.

» Participant assumes all liability for any legal problem that might arise from the works he/she has sent to the competition. By entering participant accepts and declares that the work belongs to him/her and that all permits and licenses were obtained for the photograph he/she has sent. In case of any contradiction about this subject, Corlu 100 th Year Rotary Club does not have any responsibility.

» In the case that any of the winning participants acts in contradiction to this declaration, his/her award, title and all acquisitions he/she has obtained will be taken back. FIAP will be informed of the situation.

» Participants who make an intervention and/or modifications on the photographs and/or those who attempt to mislead the jury by pretending that the entered photograph is his/her own work, when this is not the case, the entrant will be considered as acted against of the rules. Entrants who are judged to be in breach of the above rules will be reported to TFSF and FIAP. TFSF rules dictates that such entrants are banned from the competitions for a period of 1 (One ) year.

» If an award winning entry is later found to be in breach of the rules of competition. Their awards will be withdrawn and will not be replaced with another work and rank and award will be left void.

» Persons with 1 (One) ban will get lifetime ban from all TFSF run competitions if they are found to be in breach of the rules for a second time.

» Persons may not enter this competition before completing their existing ban periods.

» Corlu 100th Rotary Club has right to demand the original file of the photo if needed.

All parts of the image have to be photographed by the author who is holding the copyright of all works submitted.

By the sole act of submitting his/her images or files to a salon under FIAP Patronage, the entrant accepts without exception and with no objection the following terms:

- that the submitted images can be investigated by FIAP to establish if these obey to FIAP

regulations and definitions even if the entrant is not a member of FIAP,

- that FIAP will use any means at its disposal for this undertaking,

- that any refusal to cooperate with FIAP or any refusal to submit the original files as captured by the camera, or failure to provide sufficient evidence, will be sanctioned by FIAP,

- that in case of sanctions following the non compliance with FIAP regulations, the name of the

entrant will be released in any form useful to inform the breaches of the rules.

It is recommended to leave the EXIF data in the submitted files intact in order to ease eventual investigations.

 

In the general interest of the event, the reproduction of the remitted works is allowed in the printed or digital catalogue, except when expressly prohibited by the author. In this matter the rules about copyright have to be strictly followed. Under no circumstances the organizer is allowed to use the pictures handed in for other purposes.

 

 

» In matters not mentioned in these entry rules or incomprehensible cases, the decisions of Corlu 100th Rotary Club and TFSF YK and TFSF U/UA Competition Regulatory Standards Directive will be applied.

» The photographs which are not winners, neither mentioned nor exhibited will be deleted on the system with the supervision of a TFSF representative.

» All award winning photos from this competition will be shown in a PDF file at www.rotaphoto.org by  April 30th, 2016. And also the awarded photos will be shown on www.tfsf.org.tr and will also be printed in 2016 TFSF Almanac.

Only submittances through www.rotaphoto.org address will be accepted. The entrants should load all the images at one time. Loading in different times could not be accepted. In case of multiple loadings the first loading will be valid and the others will not be evaluated. Prints, CD?s or email submittances will not be accepted.

» The photos should be submitted in JPEG format (with highest compression), 300 dpi which should be suitable for large prints, short side not less than 2000 pixels and not bigger than 6 MB.

» For each entered photo should be given a code and name in the following format. Code will comprise of the first letters of entrants first, middle name/s and Surname. Entrant should also give a name to each photo. E.g. if the entrant's first middle and surname in that order is, Oncu İsmail Sahin, and the names he has given to his say 2 photos is "Yansız" and "Rainbow", then the photos should be named: "OIS-Yansiz", "OIS-Rainbow" etc.

» Regardless of the name given to the entered photos by the entrant, each photo will be given a code number by the system of competition. Thus Photo anonymity is assured while being judged.

» Jury will judge each work for technical, storyline and philosophical content. Winners will be decided by the total of the points from, technical, storyline and philosophical content.

» In case of difficulties in submission through the internet address due to system or user problems, please contact through,info@rotaphoto.org  with your problems nature, the problem will be resolved in a short time. This e-mail address is only to be used for troubleshooting and should not be used for submitting photos. Such admittances to this address will not be accepted

» The Corlu 100th Rotary Club will pay the cash awards after the announcement of the competition results, by bank transfer to personal bank accounts number /IBAN number of the winners which will be informed in written way by the winners. In case of not informing the Corlu 100th Rotary Club about account / IBAN number, the award fee will be expired after one (1) year since Results Announcement Day. Once the rights expired the winner could not demand anything like award, copyright, etc.

» TFSF will not take any responsibility for the problems occurred during loading.

» FIAP Best Photographer Award (Will be given to the photographer who receives the maximum acceptance in terms of award + exhibition)

» Exhibition (Max. 25 Photos)

The results will be sent to the competitors by email latest on JUNE 2016
